Built Bumble’s first ESG and climate program from the ground up, integrating the programs into a core part of business strategy, brand identity, and stakeholder trust under my leadership. I developed the company’s net-zero roadmap, led global ESG reporting efforts, and integrated climate awareness across all teams and operations. Developed and executed Bumble’s inaugural ESG strategy, anchored in materiality assessment and C-suite alignment. Spearheaded decarbonization roadmap across Scopes 1–3; delivered first carbon removal investment in women-led, science-backed technologies. Launched and scaled supplier engagement program, covering 80% of supply chain emissions; secured buy-in from procurement, finance, and operations. Built ESG reporting infrastructure (CDP, SASB, Impact Report), preparing for alignment with SEC climate rules and investor expectations. Trained cross-functional departments to build climate literacy, embedding sustainability in business practices. Oversaw annual enterprise carbon footprint reporting; led GHG data QA/QC for disclosures and internal strategy. Led ESG Steering Committee and collaborated with board members, investors, and ratings agencies to align on risk, credibility, and messaging. Directed external consultants and internal stakeholders to drive delivery of high-impact sustainability initiatives and foster a values-driven team culture.
