I am an industry leader in Canada’s utility sector, with a mission to drive economic growth and organizational success through solving energy and utility challenges. As CEO and Managing Partner of Energex, I solve the toughest problems, lead high-impact engagements, provide expert advisory services, and collaborate with industry leaders to deliver transformative solutions in energy and utilities. Committed to helping businesses and governments succeed, I develop and execute strategies for growth, navigate the utility commercial and regulatory framework, implement new technology for customer and workforce transformation, shape policy through relationships and advocacy, and augment high performing and engaged teams. As the former President of an electric utility business with over $8B in regulated asset base,$1.2B in annual revenue, and over 1,500 employees, I delivered exceptional financial performance, drove cost efficiencies, and enhanced grid reliability while navigating complex regulatory landscapes and shaping the future of energy policy. Under my leadership, I spearheaded the highest earnings outperformance of any electric utility in Alberta, while also being the only electric utility to lower electric distribution rates to customers. This was accomplished alongside top-quartile performance in cost efficiency, reliability, and safety.From overseeing over $3B in capital investments during my tenure, to championing government and regulatory policies at federal, provincial, and municipal levels, I ensured the resilience and modernization of critical infrastructure while strengthening the grid’s long-term sustainability.
