As an IT PMO Project Manager, I am responsible for guiding cross-functional IT PMO teams using Agile and waterfall methodologies to achieve IT PMO objectives. In this role, I lead project planning, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation efforts while maintaining a strong understanding of IT PMO principles. I foster collaboration, facilitate, and align project goals with business requirements while delivering solutions on time and within budget.My responsibilities for projects at NiSource include, but are not limited to:• Planning out the delivery for small-medium sized projects of low-medium complexity to realize the business case beginning with the requirements definition and continuing through development, testing, and final delivery.• Demonstrating strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.• Working in a team environment and building strong relationships with NiSource technology partners.• Demonstrating knowledge of and contributing to project management processes to facilitate statement of work development and vendor progress management.• Driving core project management activities for risk, issue, decision management, dependency management, status reporting, demand, budgeting, forecasting, variance explanations, and capacity management.• Facilitating collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels and serving as a role model for teamwork.• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to contribute when making effective project presentations and communicating technical concepts to non-technical clients.• Demonstrated Experience in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile) and tools (ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, PowerBI, and Jira).
