ABOUT MICHAEL DELONG
I am a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration and completed a minor in Business Analytics through the Lindner College of Business. Upon graduation, I interned with the Tampa Bay Rays, working in video and advance scouting at the High-A affiliate, Bowling Green. Some of my responsibilities included conducting pregame scouting report meetings, operating, and managing video technologies, and assisting with additional player development and scouting tasks as necessary.While in school I gained valuable experience working for the baseball team at the University of Cincinnati, Prep Baseball Report, and in Baseball Operations at the United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL). At these locations I\'ve operated and analyzed data from systems such as TrackMan, FlightScope, and Rapsodo making it easier to understand for coaches, players, and scouts. During this time, I became familiar with common software programs such as Tableau, R, and Excel. In addition, I\'ve worked on the operations side managing equipment for the Cincinnati baseball team and helping the clubhouse managers at the USPBL.
