ABOUT MAX HILL

As of July 2024 I have joined L\'Oréal\'s CPD as a Business Development Intern. Working across haircare and colouring I aim to gain an understanding of the sector, wider business and what it takes to maintain the market dominance that L\'Oréal currently possess. I am very grateful for the opportunities that this placement will provide me with and aim to expand my abilities whilst creating value for the team and wider company. As a Business Management with Placement student at Queen\'s University Belfast, I am eager to gain practical and relevant experience in various sectors and industries. I have explored my interest in finance, operations, and banking, and participated in workshops and programs with BCG, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley to learn more about the opportunities and challenges in these fields. In addition, I have focused on building on applicable skills through online work experience. I have also developed my hospitality, communication, and organization skills through my work as a Bar Waiter at Host Staffing. I have served customers at prestigious venues such as Wembley, Twickenham, the O2, Lords, and Silverstone. Additionally, I have demonstrated my leadership, teamwork, and resilience as a University Royal Navy Unit at the Royal Navy, where I have completed various training and exercises. Furthermore, I have showcased my creativity and editorial skills as part of the award-winning school magazine \'The Wall\', where I was the photography editor and cover designer. I am passionate about pursuing excellence, learning new skills, and contributing to positive outcomes.
