As accounting firms seek to address complex issues with innovative and resourceful strategy, my background is well-suited for that vision as it encompasses both professional and volunteer tax accountant experience, providing me with a well-rounded and informed approach.In my role as the Owner of Logan Outdoor Rentals for example, I have delivered comprehensive tax and accounting services for the business, allowing me to see how tax accounting affects business operations holistically, a useful perspective in understanding both day-to-day and big picture operations in a firm. Moreover, my experience as a VITA Tax Volunteer has allowed me a first-hand experience in seeing how tax accounting impacts the individual, a necessary consideration in ensuring my work reflects a high level of integrity and the client’s best interests.These professional experiences and desire to make a meaningful impact, along with my academic background in accounting cultivated at Utah State University, have equipped me with the ability to utilize my direct experience and knowledge of underlying policy and theory to address challenges from a variety of angles. As I move forward in my professional career, I look forward to utilizing my talents, abilities, and passions to provide tax accounting services to support organizational effectiveness and impact.
