The automotive industry is currently undergoing unprecedented transformation. Electrification and autonomous driving are two major trends. While the e-mobility market is growing exponentially, we need to ensure that comfort and safety are the top priority for consumers. The use of electrical energy as the driving force in electric and hybrid vehicles presents an entirely new challenge to the reliable distribution of electricity between batteries and electrical assemblies. The current radar applications in the driver assistance systems provide very limited information such as the location of an object, its direction, height and speed. This presents new challenges to mobile safety.
