Mr. Mousavi is Managing Principal and co-founder of the National Net Lease Group of SRS Real Estate Partners, the largest retail-only brokerage firm in North America. Mr. Mousavi also serves as a member of the board of the directors of the company. Prior to co-founding the National Net Lease Group with SRS, Mr. Mousavi was Senior Managing Director with Faris Lee Investments for 12 years. Mr. Mousavi is well known as one of the most active investment brokers within the retail industry nationally, and has directly been involved in over $4.0 billion worth of commercial real estate transactions, including the sale of over 300 individual transactions in more than 30 US states within the past 12 months. Mr. Mousavi graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in real estate finance from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Mousavi is the recipient of dozens of industry awards and accolades, including being recognized in three separate years by Real Estate Forum Magazine as one of the “Top 40 Under 50” in the US Commercial Real Estate industry, and by Commercial Property Executive as recipient of as one of their “Rising Stars.” Mr. Mousavi is a continued, multi-year recipient of the “Power Broker” award by Co-Star for national investment sales for both total volume and number of transaction categories. Mr. Mousavi is an active speaker, panelist and columnist pertaining to the national investment sales market. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, ULI, the Merage Alumni Association, and sits on the Advisory Board for the Center for Real Estate at the University of California, Irvine.
