ABOUT MATT T.

As a Managing Director – Group Head at KeyBank, Matt Taylor is responsible for the Capital Markets team supporting Key Equipment Finance and KeyCorp Specialty Finance Lending. He manages a team of syndication and indirect origination professionals while leading the capital markets execution for lead-arranger structured loans to specialty finance firms.Mr. Taylor has gained significant experience in his previous corporate and investment banking roles, consistently taking on increasing responsibility within KeyBank since joining the firm in 2006. Matt has marketed of over $14 billion in lease, loan, and bond transactions spanning various industries, including the successful sales of over $8 billion of assets while acting as a lead advisor or arranger for other banks and specialty finance companies. He has consistently exceeded his goals receiving multiple Sales Achievement Awards including the 2013 Golden Key Award, 2014 Chairman’s Award, 2015 Million Dollar Club President’s Circle Award, and the Pinnacle Club President’s Circle Award in both 2016 and 2017.Matt is very active within the industry as a member of the Structured Finance Industry Group (SFIG), the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) and the Association for Governmental Leasing and Finance (AGLF). As a strong believer in the power of mentoring relationships, Matt has worked in the community as a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado as well as Catalyst Mentor with The Mentoring Circle®.Mr. Taylor graduated magna cum laude as a Worthington Scholar from Ohio University with a BBA in Finance and Marketing in 2006. In 2013, he received his MBA as a Daniels Scholar at the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business with a focus on Strategic Innovation and Change. He is a FINRA Registered Representative holding Series 63 and 52 Licenses.
