Manage regulatory compliance staff-Responsible for maintaining authority to do business in all states and assist in necessary filings-Monitor for legal/regulatory changes, using legal database, trade organization websites, state department of insurance web sites, and other research tools available-Assist in the implementation of any practices, procedures or changes made necessary by the findings of such research-Effectively communicate regulatory guidance to Company staff-Coordinate creation of data extracts and responses to various state data calls-Maintain schedule and ensure that reports and eligibility filings are made on a timely basis to state insurance departments on an annual or more frequent basis-Research and coordinate delivery of brokerage operations compliance procedures-Research and respond to DOI inquiries, including maintenance and documentation. Monitor for trends and communicate to staff and Company leadership-Ensure that the content, design and implementation of property casualty forms and endorsements meet applicable regulatory requirements-Monitor legislation for company impact and associated notification and provide advice to impacted divisions-Manage OFAC compliance program and documentation-Review and advise departments on bulletins impacting Underwriting, Claims, etc-Manage and partner with outside legal counsel on Company related legal matters-Review marketing material, and provide guidance and feedback on distribution, soliciting/selling and servicing of policies-Provide information, guidance, consultation and recommendations to Claim staff and leadership, along with other internal stakeholders, on actions necessary to ensure compliance with statutory/regulatoryrequirements-Communicate with senior management and other internal and external stakeholders on developing areas of insurance laws and regulations-Responsible for the administration and execution / processing of Adjuster licenses
