ABOUT MATT SHOOLBREAD MORTGAGE ADVISER
Since returning from 6 years on my Overseas Experience in late 2006 I have continued to live my Kiwi dream. I am married, have my own home and my two beautiful children are the centre of my life. My experiences driving tour coaches in Europe and backpacking through South America have broadened my outlook on life, moulding my good work ethic and appreciation for NZ. The varying roles I have had in my employment history demonstrate my ability to be flexible and to adapt easily to new circumstances. With the ability to communicate and relate well with people from a wide range of backgrounds, my creative streak always helps me to source the best solution. I have high standards of personal excellence and am self-motivated in whatever I undertake. For the last 15 years I found my niche in Logistics/Supply Chain, a field that required the logical thinking of a mathematician, the personality of a salesman and the interpersonal skills of a great manager. All skills I have. Since returning to NZ I have also been fortunate enough to have owned residential investment property. Through these investments I have been involved in a court case for a \'leaky\' building, 3 recladding projects and multiple interactions with lenders. This interest has led me to study residential property lending and now change roles into the mortgage broking Industry.
