ABOUT MATEUSZ GWIZD

I am a licensed goalkeeper coach with FA/UEFA Goalkeeping B, FAW/UEFA Goalkeeping A, and UEFA A licenses. Currently, I serve as the goalkeeper coach and head of the Goalkeeping Academy at Korona Kielce S.A. in Poland. My specialization is in the comprehensive development of goalkeepers, focusing on aspects such as tactics, technique, physical, and mental development. In my work, I place great emphasis on developing awareness and decision-making skills in goalkeepers, both in training and match situations. My experience as a player includes playing as a goalkeeper for clubs such as Korona Kielce (youth teams, second team), SMS Kraków, Spartakus Daleszyce, MKS Stąporków, ŁKS Łagów, and Birmingham Futsal Club. These experiences at the and IV league levels in Poland and the FA National Futsal Super League in England have given me a deeper understanding of goalkeepers\' needs. In England, I gained coaching experience at clubs such as Shrewsbury Town FC Academy, Tamworth Football Club Academy, Birmingham City FC Community Trust, and Birmingham & West Midlands LFC. Currently, I hold the position of head of goalkeeping at Korona Kielce, as well as the position of first-team goalkeeper coach for the club. I meticulously prepare training sessions that consider both the technical and tactical aspects of the game, tailoring them to the skills and age of the goalkeepers. My training sessions provide goalkeepers with the opportunity to improve their skills by learning goalkeeping techniques and developing their individual abilities. What sets me apart from other goalkeeper coaches is my dedication to training and individual approach to each player. I am an ambitious and patient coach who constantly strives for excellence. Football is my passion, and I pursue it with full commitment and love for the sport.
