I am responsible for setting the strategy and leading the day-to-day operations of Baker’s Central Region, an area that encompasses Texas, the Gulf Coast, and beyond.Duties include:• Casting the vision and future direction for the region and developing and overseeing the execution of a strategic business plan focused on client delivery, talent development, and operational excellence• Overseeing the region’s budgetary and financial activities and the financial well-being of client projects within the region• Negotiating fees and contracts, reviewing estimates, and finalizing bid-day prices• Ensuring the region is competitive with high safe production and lean overhead• Developing world-class talent management to support the business and Baker’s clients• Creating and maintaining relationships with the community, government, and construction industry leaders
