Director responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership for the architecture, performance, integrity, and security of Ballard’s enterprise data ecosystem. This includes oversight of systems and platforms spanning Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS), Connected Manufacturing, Industrial IoT solutions, and cloud-based services managed by the MS Azure Cloud Services Group.As head of the Operational Technology (OT) Group, I lead the development and deployment of advanced industrial software solutions that power Ballard’s manufacturing operations. These include integrated control systems, SCADA platforms, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), enabling real-time visibility, traceability, and optimization across our global production lines. The OT group also plays a critical role in driving data collection, contextualization, and analysis to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.In parallel, I oversee the MS Azure Cloud Services Group, which manages our cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and systems integration. This team is responsible for designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance environments that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and seamless data access across departments. By aligning cloud services with operational technologies, we are accelerating Ballard’s digital transformation—fostering greater agility, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
