Located in Guelph, as Sr. Software Developer/Technical Lead, I have over 20 years of experience in various industries and I have coded in Java/Kotlin/Android, Python, C/C++, C#/.NET, Perl, and other languages. I am knowledgeable about Linux, Windows, and Mac OSX operating systems.I spent the last 3.5 yrs at Ford Motor Company working in help develop Bluetooth software for their entertainment system in Android OS. I know the SDLC and Agile software development methods. While I work with individuals professing 4 year degrees, I am completely self-taught and I like nothing better than learning something new that I have never seen before. My current personal technical interests involve IOT with developments in home automation. I write about IOT and other interests in my spare time.My side interest is psychology and cycling. I am studying, on a part-time basis, towards a B.A. in Psychology at York University in Toronto, ON CANADA where I maintain an B+ average. If I won the lottery, I would work towards a Ph.D in Clinical/Developmental Psychology. In the meantime, it is a bit of a hobby.For biking, I ride and have raced all kinds of bikes. I generally use biking to stay fit.
