ABOUT MARK SKERTIC

Mark joined K2 Integrity in March 2021, but he\'s been working in the investigative consulting world since 2006. He is an experienced professional adept at handling complex investigations, including due diligence, litigation support, background investigations, business intelligence, intelligence and asset searches. Mark has undertaken a range of investigations, including multi-national projects and tightly focused investigations for those who need information to make smart decisions.Clients he works with include corporations, law firms, hedge funds, venture capital firms, non-profit organizations, universities and city and state governments.Prior to joining K2 Mark was a director in the global investigations practice at Berkeley Research Group. Earlier, he spent a decade leading investigations at Kroll, where he was an associate managing director in the business intelligence and investigations practice.Mark learned how to be an investigator during his two decades as a newspaper reporter and editor. As a journalist, he was schooled in the use of public records, interviewing skills and the importance of clear writing. Mark reported and wrote award-winning investigations and covered complex sectors, including the airline industry, futures markets, banking and insurance.At K2 he works with an amazing group of investigative professionals who are able to find answers to complex questions for clients.
