Assumes all areas of the Information Security and Assurance program at Hillstone by providing strategic leadership in IT infrastructure and engineering, PCI Environment, enterprise security governance and Sec‐Ops management. Contributed to both tactical and strategic planning to overhaul and replace existing outdated infrastructure and security processes while obtaining PCI Compliance on a continual basis with enhanced employee awareness of security operations and preventative measures. Reports directly to Corporate Counsel. Established new and updated existing Information Assurance policies and procedures with an eye on ensuring a positive guest experience within the four‐walls restaurants. Restructuring all data programs to NIST framework standards for retention, assurance and recovery efforts. Finalized project to implement P2PE standards for credit card transactions at all restaurants. Replaced aging virtual and networking systems (in collaboration with Network Manager) with updated blade and SAN technologies resulting in a net loss of downtime by 15% monthly. Implementing policies and processes on external vendor access to ensure partner systems demonstrated secure computing standards and procedures. Advises Services Team (Support) on new hardware and software initiatives to reduce time‐spent on repetitive processes/projects to increase productivity. Works with the Networking Manager on introducing enhanced email scanning for malicious attacks and DLP processes. Partners with executive‐level stakeholders on introducing Box cloud‐storage to allow easy but secure access to mission critical reports and information. Provides coaching and technical education for new support and infrastructure team members to enhance already strong skill sets to increase time‐to‐resolution for restaurant employees. Revolutionized backup‐storage tiering with cloud partner to ensure data assurance and disaster recovery programs.
