Working as the Information Account Manager at the main acute hospital in Wrexham supporting the needs of clinicians, managers & hospital directors. • Working closely with the hospital management team to develop an in-depth understanding of clinical and operational services, systems and processes in order to provide meaningful analytical support to performance monitoring, operational management and service planning agendas. • Analyse and interpret complex data sets, to produce detailed, concise reports for clinicians and managers, ensuring that findings and agreed outcomes from these reports are taken forward and implemented.• Undertake complex pathway analysis to build a greater understanding of how patients flow through the system rather than analysing discrete elements of the service in isolation.• Develop and implement new cubes, dashboards, and reports for a range of services across the Health Board including Outpatient Clinic Utilisation Dashboard, Antimicrobial Clinician Audit Dashboard, and Environment Risk Assessment Dashboard.• Contribute to the planning and formulation of the Health Board’s Information Strategy.• Being the site lead for the ENT National Planned Care Framework, ensuring data is submitted to Welsh Government accurately and by the agree deadlines.• Working closely with colleagues to ensure that they make the most effective use of available information and analyses, giving them the support they need to understand and interpret information through coaching, training and other such approaches.• Communicate complex statistical techniques to non-Informatics staff ensuring that complex messages are fully understood, often where there are barriers to understanding and persuasive skills are required. • Develop improved reporting techniques and methods, including exception reporting, trend analysis, trajectory planning, deviations from normal state, executive-level analysis, on-line access, and drill-down access to the data warehouse.
