About Mark Kenny

Mark is currently the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Ultra Maritime, a global leader in Naval Systems development and fielding. He is the past Vice President for Advanced Naval Systems at L3Harris and past President for Unmanned Maritime Systems at L3Harris. Prior to that, and before an acquisition by L3T, he led the unmanned and maritime programs at Adaptive Methods in Centreville VA leading the Mission Systems, Sensors, and Integrated Systems businesses for the company. As Vice President for Irregular Warfare and Special Mission Programs at Northrop Grumman, he led the special mission aircraft, F5 aircraft upgrade program, mine hunting businesses. He established the Red Wings National Irregular Warfare Center in St. Augustine FL. Mark also is CEO of KENNCOR LLC, a consulting company directly supporting the Department of Defense in restricted efforts. He is on the Undersea Advisory Council of NDIA, was board member at the Advanced Research laboratory/Penn State University and a former Proxy Board member for Ultra Electonics Secure Intelligence Systems from 20••••18. He has served in the United States Navy, leading various of submarine and Irregular Warfare commands in the Atlantic, Pacific Fleets and in Afghanistan, Africa, Iraq and Southeast Asia. As a Flag Officer, he had submarine group command of all submarines in the Atlantic Fleet and was Naval Region Northeast Commander. He established the Navy Irregular Warfare Command on the Navy Staff. He has broad experience within the Pentagon as a senior officer leading resource and requirements for both the Navy and Joint staffs. Naval Skills Specialties: Undersea Warfare, ASW and Mine Warfare, Irregular Warfare/ Counterterrorism Operations, Unmanned Air and Undersea Systems including deployment in theater. Extensive experience in military requirements and budgeting/contracting processes from Joint Staff, Navy Staff and corporate experience and perspective.
