Maria has over 25 years of design experience including a broad practice of creating visual identities, exhibitions, signage systems, packaging and magazines. In recent years focusing mainly on digital design, user experience and product development. In 2002 she co-funded and was the creative director of the award-winning and internationally renown design agency Commando Group. Educated as a graphic designer in the Netherlands, Maria has been a member of numerous juries, gives frequent lectures on design and is a member of the Grafill Fund Board.
