Has a concentration on Design of Assessment Instruments and her academic interest lie on Discourse Analysis and Systemic-Functional Linguistics. After being selected as a Fulbright visiting student, she completed the MA in Forensic Linguistics with Distinction at Hofstra University; focusing on legal language and its impact on vulnerable groups. Her capstone project analyzes the legal language of feminicide legislation in Mexico from a textual complexity perspective.
