At Smashburger, I formulated the inaugural bottom-up store-level budgeting model. This model was instrumental in securing endorsement from field Directors and RVPs. It adeptly accommodates year-on-year fluctuations in sales, COGS, and labor costs, all while aligning with overarching corporate benchmarks. Notably, the model integrates safeguards to ensure adjustments remain within reasonable boundaries. • Entrusted with the responsibility of conducting comprehensive promotional analyses encompassing both short-term and long-term perspectives. Tasked with calculating and assessing Return on Investment (ROI) percentages for both concluded and upcoming promotional initiatives. • Assumed complete oversight of the Profit and Loss (P&L) review process during the closing periods to guarantee precision. Additionally, I am responsible for communicating P&L outcomes to the Chief Executive Officer and the parent company situated in the Philippines. • Evaluate menu pricing along all price tiers to include overall price lift and margin contribution. Make suggestions for pricing. • Proven ability to attract high-caliber individuals, develop teams and talent with diverse capabilities, provide constructive feedback, develop successors and talent pools, and drive results. • Developed a corporate scorecard for stores. • Perform forthcoming site evaluations to incorporate Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and payback period analyses and assume responsibility for making definitive determinations regarding any potential future sites. • Directly responsible for leading and managing a team comprising a Finance Manager and a Finance Analyst. Our team operates with remarkable effectiveness, displaying a high level of motivation and ambition. Also, developing other managers and other high-potential employees for growth within the organization. • Manage divisional planning processes, including monthly forecasts, monthly reviews, annual budgets, mid-year forecasts, and strategic plans.
