Marcela is CEO at ANPEI - The Brazilian National Association for Research and Development of Innovative Companies. Awarded in 2023, for ANPEI, with the National Medal of Scientific Merit, the highest honor granted by the Brazilian President, awarded to Brazilian personalities in recognition of their scientific and technical contributions to the development of science in Brazil. She holds a degree in Business Administration and is post graduated in Technology Innovation Strategic Management (Unicamp). She has accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in innovation management, public policies, international relations, intellectual property, climate change and artificial inteligence. Marcela serves as a pro bono chairwoman of the board at The Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) and as board counselor on many entities from the Brazilian and European ecosystem, such as the Council of National Science and Technology (CCT), Deliberative Council of SEBRAE Nacional and SEBRAE São Paulo, Council of Administration of the Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE), Council for Scientific and Technological Developments (CNPq) and the Enrich Global Board.
