About Marc Lotti

Marc is the Board Chairman and CEO of Simulint. Prior to this, he was a Partner at ACA Group and the head of its cybersecurity and IT risk division. In all his professional activities, Marc applies his experience as a senior business and technology strategist, investor, governance specialist, and thought leader. Marc advises other boards, raises funds for SPVs he has created for private investments, and mentors others on cybersecurity and technology transactions. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, hospitality, and startups. Before ACA acquired Aponix FT in 2015, Marc was its COO and CEO of its parent company TechGRC. Prior to that, he founded and funded UFlexData, a sector-agnostic turnkey cloud technology platform for small and medium-sized businesses. Marc served as Trilogy Global Advisors’ CTO between 2004 and 2009, after developing a strategic computing roadmap for American Express’ Corporate Travel Division in 2003. From 1996 to 2002, Marc worked as a technology consultant for Goldman Sachs where he was employed in multiple capacities across many projects, including M&A due diligence and investment analysis. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Marc was the IT infrastructure manager for International Emerging Markets worldwide at Merrill Lynch and later an Assistant Vice President at Fuji Securities, where he led the development of its firm-wide technology infrastructure. Marc earned a BA in Economics from Stony Brook University, holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and has received several professional certifications in enterprise governance, program management, and technology.
