Marc is a senior member of the firm’s global energy practice where he leads the Global Power & Utilities Practice and leads the Houston office. Beyond conducting CEO, board and executive-level search assignments, Marc advices clients on culture, board effectiveness and succession planning. His clients include pre-commercial startups to Fortune 100 corporations. He is based in Houston.Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Marc was a senior vice president at Advisian, the independent global advisory arm of WorleyParsons. Previously, Marc worked at ExxonMobil, where he held executive-level positions and completed international assignments across the Middle East and Africa. Marc began his career in the United States Navy as a nuclear submarine officer onboard the USS Boston (SSN-703) fast attack submarine. He deployed out of submarine bases in Connecticut and Hawaii. Marc holds a BS in control systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MS in engineering management from The George Washington University. He is a certified nuclear engineer.
