ABOUT MARA MAEHARA

I have been Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Totvs since January 2016, responsible for solutions, security, privacy and infrastructure that support the company\'s operations inside and outside Brazil.Among my main skills are the ability to have a strategic view of IT and develop partnerships with business areas, in addition to deep technical knowledge of the area. I also try to engage the teams to achieve more operational efficiency and reduce costs.I have a degree in Systems Analysis from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). In addition, I have specializations in E-commerce from the University of California Irvine and in Finance for Executives from Insper.I am certified by Go.New in the Innovation Counselor course and am currently a consultant at ABLTI and IOS Instituto de Oportunidade Social.With more than 30 years of experience in IT, Maehara\'s professional career counts passages, all in leadership positions, by companies of global scope such as Ambev, Grupo BRF (Sadia), Carrefour and Grupo Pão de Açúcar (GPA).I work with actions aimed at inclusion and diversity, as an ambassador for the gender chair at Totvs.
