Responsible for the day to day accounting functions of operating property portfolio (laboratory and office) properties. • In-charge of filing Company-wide tax returns, including Taxable Income projections and reporting to the Parent Company (Blackstone) and in-house preparation and filing of simple tax returns (federal and state). • Supervise and review any technical accounting matters, including but not limited to, consolidation of VIEs, purchase price allocation upon acquisitions, property disposition accounting, investment in unconsolidated entities, long-term incentive unit valuation, debt financing, accrual of uncertain and contingent liabilities, non-controlling interest, foreign currency exchange translation matters, and capitalization of operating expenses during the property development phase. • Responsible for maintaining and updating Company-wide process narratives and internal controls, including general information technology controls. • Implement any new accounting rules and pronouncements applicable to the Company business and manage Accounts Payable and Treasury functions.
