I am an experienced risk engineering professional with more than 23 years of industry experience, spanning both commercial insurance and in-house risk management roles in large corporate rail and aircraft manufacturing environments. As Head of Risk Control for Continental Europe, I lead a diverse, pan‑European team of Risk Control professionals across property, casualty, marine, and cyber. Together, we work to strengthen risk awareness, translate technical insight into practical solutions, and support sustainable business decisions in increasingly complex risk landscapes. My approach combines deep technical knowledge with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset. I particularly enjoy working at the intersection of risk engineering, underwriting, and client engagement, where clear communication, mutual trust, and collaboration are essential. Developing expert teams and fostering a strong, multicultural Risk Control community are core parts of my role and are something I am genuinely passionate about. Outside of work, I am a passionate freediver (apnea diver).
