ABOUT MALARVIZHI SANKARANARAYANASAMY

I help turn complex industrial AI ideas into production systems that generate IP and measurable business value. I’ve always worked end-to-end. During my PhD, I didn’t just model physical systems — I designed experimental rigs, built industry partnerships, and took a student project all the way from lab prototype to tech transfer. At Caterpillar, I managed a 45‑person production team and brought two new product models onto the assembly line, which taught me that technology only matters when it ships on time, on budget, under real constraints.At Hitachi, I’ve led technology incubation across datacenter energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing — identifying opportunities, building the business case, and driving programs from first slide to deployed system. Along the way that’s meant multiple patents, a route optimization system now in production, a dependability framework used in railroad asset management, and datacenter energy program I’m currently exploring commercialization pathways.I\'m interested in teams building AI-native energy infrastructure, intelligent datacenter systems, or applied ML for physical-world problems — whether at a frontier lab, a startup, or a research group that ships.
