ABOUT MADDOX HALLS
Chemical Engineering undergrad at California Baptist University. My interests lie in materials discovery, energy and e-fuels, and disruptive technological innovation. My current focus is towards batteries and energy, with my research focusing on clean energy production. My current research relates to Solid Oxide Fuel Cell electrolytes. I am utilizing my certification in Schrodinger Materials Science Platform, to experiment with doping ceramics to improve their usage as electrolytes in SOFCs.Also serving as the current President of the AIChE CBU chapter, and leading the design and production of the Chem-E-Car for the 2026 competition. In this role I host meetings, lead lab days, and collaborate to manage the club with other leadership and our advising professor.
