As Chief Officer and Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator, responsible for the overall management of deck operations, vessel stability, and safe DP positioning during complex offshore projects on Heavy Lift Vessels (HLV) and Diving Support Vessels (DSV). Acted as second-in-command, supporting the Master in all navigational, operational, and safety-related duties while ensuring full compliance with company policies, IMCA standards, and international maritime regulations. Oversaw daily bridge operations, including voyage planning, passage execution, ship-handling, weather monitoring, and maintaining accurate navigational records. Led the DP team to ensure precise station-keeping during heavy-lift operations, saturation diving, ROV work, subsea construction, and installation campaigns. Conducted DP checklists, risk assessments, FMEA testing, and continuous monitoring of vessel heading, offset limits, and environmental conditions. Managed all deck crew activities, including lifting operations, cargo handling, crane coordination, deck maintenance, and implementation of safe working practices. Ensured all deck equipment, mooring gear, rigging, and lifting appliances were inspected and maintained to operational standards. Coordinated with project teams, dive supervisors, crane operators, and client representatives to support offshore work scopes efficiently and safely. Held responsibility for vessel stability, ballast operations, cargo distribution, and maintaining updated stability documentation. Ensured readiness and maintenance of LSA/FFA systems, and acted as a key leader in emergency preparedness, conducting regular drills and overseeing the implementation of emergency response procedures. Played a central role in the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, toolbox talks, and hazard control processes, ensuring all work was performed in line with safety management system requirements.
