I am an Internal Audit Manager at Nordea based in Warsaw, Poland, and have over 14 years of professional experience in auditing and consulting. I support the Third Line of Defense by providing independent assurance that the bank’s risk management, internal controls, and governance processes are operating effectively.I had an opportunity to gain international experience by spending over two years living and working in Germany (Frankfurt am Main), where I developed and improved soft and hard skills, such as adaptability, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, self-sufficiency and independence.I have a strong background in corporate sustainability, transaction services, compliance and performance assurance, enterprise risk and liability management and regulatory services. Prior to my role in internal auditing, I have been involved in numerous projects for a variety of sectors including automotive, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food and beverages, chemical, manufacturing and real estate sectors. Based on my experience as external consultant, I have an in-depth understanding of the existing and future ESG requirements and its impact to businesses. I have led a wide range of ESG and EHS projects in multiple countries, as well as acted as project manager for large due diligence assessments and compliance programmes with international portfolios.I participated in 300+ projects performed throughout Poland, Germany and other countries (Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Italy, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Turkey, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Finland, Egypt, Israel, Czech Republic). During my professional career I served as the auditor and project manager for global clients, such as Procter & Gamble, General Electric, Chevron, Unilever, Amazon, L’Oreal, Reckitt Benckiser, Panasonic, Danone, Coca-Cola, Apple, Amazon, IBM.As a Project Manager I successfully managed global projects and achieved the scheduled goals within established deadlines by planning, supervision and coordination of activities of team members worldwide.
