As part of the Sustainability Team at Credendo, I assess complex international financing projects to ensure compliance with environmental and social (E&S) standards. My work supports decision-making at the board level and contributes to aligning our operations with Belgian and international sustainability commitments.Key responsibilities:• Conducting E&S due diligence for large-scale investment and trade finance projects across diverse sectors• Evaluating project compliance with international standards, including the IFC Performance Standards, World Bank Environmental and Social Framework, and other relevant benchmarks• Engaging with clients to gather project-specific information and assess ESG risks and opportunities• Preparing E&S reports and board materials, including setting conditions precedent and subsequent • Monitoring project implementation to ensure ongoing compliance with E&S requirements• Delivering ESG training and workshops across the organisationI also represent Credendo - Export Credit Agency in international forums and working groups (OECD, Berne Union, Export Finance for Future initiative, etc.), contributing to the development of global ESG standards and best practices.
