I built and modified teams, implemented strategic initiatives and motivated and energized teams on a national basis. I coalesced claims teams from across strategic business units into a cohesive and highly performing operation with national responsibility over complex liability claims. This group not only achieved successful outcomes but also partnered cross-functionally on the acquisition of new business and retention.I led multi-year national strategic initiatives which successfully reduced corporate and customer risk exposure in the area of product liability litigation. I have also been involved in several acquisitions and provided operational oversight regarding the integration flowing from these acquisitions. Always willing to take on a challenge and expand my skill base, I strengthened my experience by taking on a role in talent management. In this role, I joined the Senior Leadership Team and informed the talent strategy across a 4300-person operation. I influenced the broadening of flexible work, challenged the team to value talent as the main driver to improved outcomes and embedded talent as a critical function of the business leader. I successfully led the roll out of a new operating model for the delivery of HR services and served as the model for the larger organization. Throughout my tenure, I spearheaded work on data analytics and brought a business lens into the talent role.The challenges continued as I moved back to claims and created a complex liability team, developed a holistic shared services organization,revitalized property claims and am currently enjoying the challenge of leading claims internationally.
