ABOUT LUKMAN HAKIM

I have several years of practical experience in the geotechnical field, particularly in mine geotechnical engineering. I am deeply passionate about rock and soil mechanics within the mining industry. In 2022, I had the opportunity to work in Indonesia as a Mine Geotechnical Engineer, where I was responsible for monitoring, supervising, and evaluating slope stability, as well as overseeing high-risk activities associated with mining production processes. My key strengths include field inspections and slope stability analyses, kinematic, empirical, and numerical methods such as Limit Equilibrium and Finite Element Method to solve complex stability problems. I have operated various monitoring instruments, including prisms with Total Station (TS) and Robotic Total Station (RTS), as well as radar systems such as SSR and Hydra. I also utilize manual instruments like extensometers and crack meters, along with drone-based monitoring for surface movement assessments. In addition, I have experience in geotechnical hazard mapping and risk assessment, technical report writing, and maintaining effective client relations.
