I teach various chemistry courses, inclusive of Advanced Biochemistry Lecture and Lab, Advanced Lab Techniques, Microphysics Lab, and Critical Thinking & Technology. My position also includes postdoctoral research responsibilities in the Goss Lab. The Goss Lab research area is quantum-based chemistry. The Goss Lab is part of and receives funding from the NSF QuBBE, Quantum Sensing for Biophysics and Bioengineering, grant. The grant is in collaboration with the University of Chicago, Harvard University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, the Goss research involves developing STEM outreach programs for local area high schools.
