About Loveen Bains
Loveen Bains serves as the Director of Advancement for Common App, a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to improving access, equity, and integrity in the college admissions process. In this role, Loveen develops and implements comprehensive annual fundraising goals, objectives, budgets, and plans for all areas of management responsibility to achieve maximum growth, optimal yield, and increase retention of donors. She currently manages a grant portfolio of $11M. Prior to joining Common App, Loveen served as the first Director of Development for Ultimate Impact, a nonprofit youth development organization in San Francisco, working with high net worth individuals, as well as the first Director of Development for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards where she raised seven figure gifts to advance the quality of teaching and learning throughout the U.S.
