About Lisa Kappesser

I\'m a certified career and executive coach, with expertise in emotional intelligence and leadership development. I established my own business in 2006 with the purpose of helping others achieve their career goals, find their dream jobs, improve their performance, and become better leaders by developing their EQ. My passion has always been about helping people succeed and I have helped hundreds of people find jobs that were a good fit, interesting and in line with their purpose, interests and strengths. Trained and certified on emotional intelligence and the EQ-i assessment in 2002, I have been speaking and educating others on the power of EQ, and developing programs for colleges and businesses to train and coach their employees. I have consulted with over 200 organizations ranging from small to large businesses, nonprofit organizations, government groups and schools/colleges, assessing their talent development needs, developing strategies, and collaborating with them to create, implement and facilitate programs on emotional intelligence and leadership, each tailored to meet their needs and objectives. I have been described as an engaging group facilitator, trainer, and presenter and have effectively trained diverse groups in numerous industries on emotional intelligence, career transition and career management, and on all aspects of leadership with consistently high evaluation scores. I wrote and published the book: The Smart New Way to Get Hired: Use Emotional Intelligence and Land the Right Job, after seeing my clients with well-developed emotional intelligence skills land quicker than others in the competitive job market of 2008.
