About Lisa Esdorn Richards

When one meets me, it doesn\'t take long to realize that I am a person who is driven with passion and loyalty, values detailed organization and utilizes laughter as both a personal and professional trait. I take immense pride in everything I do and genuinely enjoy problem solving and being proactive. I work well alone, but I thrive in team settings. If you\'ve worked with me, you are aware that I will do anything to support my team and ensure every project succeeds. I care strongly for my clients, colleagues and the work I produce. I am a proud Alum of the University of Iowa with a Degree in Political Science and a Certificate in Human Rights. I love getting to know people of various backgrounds and connecting with people on a deep personal level. I had the wonderful experience of volunteering and interning with the United Nations and various other human rights organizations while at Iowa. I evolved into the person I am today at Iowa - a woman with a strong work ethic, a believer in a healthy work life balance and someone who finds fulfillment in making others feel comfortable around her. Outside of work I enjoy a variety of activities and topics. Critically thinking, especially on the topic of philosophy, is a favorite of mine. I am passionate about supporting Veterans, human rights and longevity. I also enjoy hiking, wildlife photography, dancing, films and cooking. My favorite thing, however, is spending time with family. I come from a very close Italian family where we love ten times harder than we bicker and laugh until we can\'t breathe. In a family full of loud Italians, I am the softest spoken, which I view as a personal achievement. Jokes aside, my family is where I learned the importance of hard work and loyalty, the value of not taking things too seriously all the time and what dedication and pride truly are.
