Create content and social media schedules for 5 University social media platforms -Plan and coordinate activities that need design or create graphics to meet specific marketing and promotional needs and maintain the Life brand-Assist with design and produce all University branded promotional materials such as flyers, ads, posters, brochures, logos, direct mail, displays, web banners, power point presentations as well as other materials as needed- Assist with video and photography shoots to ensure outside vendors are scheduled to meet deadlines-Handle multiple projects, organize large workload with speed and efficiency to meet deadlines-Work with vendors to design and produce camera-ready art including graphs, charts, clip art, posters, digitization of graphics, line-art, and/or photos-Create electronically-designed page layouts and imports word processing files into page layouts, as appropriate to the position-Responsible to help with the overall visual look and feel of the University website and to provide visual continuity between the website and publications, advertisements, displays, etc-Consult with administration, faculty, and staff to identify their graphics needs, budget constraints, and reasonable deadlines for projects; serve as a liaison between the University and printers/publishers when required-Coordinate the printing production process to ensure quality: reproduction specifications; inspects proofs for accuracy and coordinates delivery to meet deadlines-Keep Supervisor/Director updated on all activities within the department-Be able to create and support graphics for social media, life.edu site, microsites and photo/video-Assist with video and photography file storage-Assistance with tracking and monitoring budgets with outside vendors on marketing projects-Facilitate bids and negotiate outside vendor costs.
