ABOUT LIDIA KRZEMIEŃ ZIMAND
Currently I\'m working in Data-Visualization Team, where I\'m responsible for backend part of the job: creation of datasources that fuels Tableau Dashboards for finance SE community. My reponsibilities are: • Design, write (using pyspark), and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion and processing. • Ensure data quality and reliability. • Optimize data sources for Tableau needs • Monitor and troubleshoot prepared data sources to ensure smooth and efficient data flow. • Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, product owner, sometimes also customers to understand needs and requirements and provide appropriate solution and support. I work in self-organized team in SCRUM. I use Spark, SQL, Python, Databricks, Github, Jira, Confluence on a daily basis. However, the way to this place was not obvious at all. Along the way, I worked as a business trainer, client support consultant and manager. However, for years I felt that what I was doing was not what I wanted to do. I wrote my wedding website a few years ago and the time spent learning how to write a website and just writing it was an exciting, wonderful time. But then I decided it was too late to change my career path. Several years passed, during which I enviously listened about my friends work in the IT industry, until I matured to the point that it is not too late and I want to change my professional path. I completed Python Bootcamp, data analysis course and finally Data Science Bootcamp, in the meantime doing shorter refresher courses. I\'m sure the job of writing code on one hand and data analysis on the other is a job I\'d like to do. The time spent learning python, sql, pandas, etc. was comparable to holidays - exciting and joyful. I am an independent person, focused on solving problems, quick learner with high communication skills, I find myself well both in a team and individal tasks.
