The company currently manufactures wood products for hobbyists and cabinet manufacturers in 50 states and abroad. The company is passionate about developing and expanding the company internationally through cutting edge technical infrastructure, product, and marketing innovations.Osborne Wood Products participates in numerous industry organizations including the CMA, WPMA, AWI, NKBA, KCMA and the WCMA. Leon is currently serving as the president of the WCMA supporting deliberate growth in carrier development in the wood working industry. Osborne Wood Products, Inc. was founded in his garage in 1979. In 1981, the business moved to its present location. In 1995, the company was recognized as one of top 100 fastest growing woodworking businesses in the trade journal Wood and Wood Products. Leon Osborne graduated from Oral Roberts University where he studied Biblical Literature and Sociology. Later he studied general woodworking with a focus on furniture construction and cabinet manufacturing at North Georgia Technical College. Leon is a long-time resident of Stephens County. He has been active in a variety of civic and community organizations including the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Board of Directors for First Georgia Banking Company, and has served on the Board of Directors for CASA, an advocate organization for abused children. Currently, Leon serves on the board of directors of the Rotary club. Leon and his wife, Janice, live in Toccoa and have four children. They are supporters of North Point Church
