As the CFO of ZRG I directed and oversaw all aspects of the Finance, Treasury, Accounting and Information Technology functions of the organization. The portfolio is comprised of 20+ assets. • Successfully accounted for the growth in the portfolio from $1.2B to $2.0B (12 to 22 assets) without an increase in staff. • Led the Finance group to provide accurate and timely financial information to internal senior management, external investors and creditors including the analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts • Provided direct ownership and vision for the significant upgrading of ZRG’s ERP systems platform including the additions of Yardi’s Investor Portal, Commercial Café, Job Cost, Marketplace, Vendor Café, at a significant, 75% cost saving vs. an outside consultant’s proposal. • Initiated the research and implementation of new IT systems and procedures to greatly improve ZRG’s cyber security resiliency and reduce risk of business email compromise • Successfully instituted austerity programs that reduced travel expense by 42%. • Completed the financial due diligence on a potential $1M+ acquisition of a hotel management company.
