ABOUT LENNY SHAMIS
Leonard (Lenny) Shamis is a licensed RN with a B.S. in nursing. Work and life balance take priority over financial reward. He has many years of experience in nursing, with expertise in geriatrics and dementia. Prior to joining our team he was the Health and Wellness Director at Brookdale Richmond Heights where he managed two assisted living and two memory care buildings, taught dementia fundamentals to new employees and educated other HWDs. Mr. Shamis\' experience also includes Director of Nursing positions in skilled nursing/rehab, home health and adult day care, and he is experienced in start ups, including his own online continuing education company. When he is not working, Mr. Shamis, a certified yoga instructor, practices yoga daily, teaches geriatric yoga, prepares vegan meals and rides his motorcycle. For the remainder of his career Mr. Shamis\' goal is to support aged populations and work back to back with a visionary team that will continue to improve, create, and promote quality of life for seniors and the dementia population. He can only thrive under work and life balance conditions. Namaste
