I joined the facility during early startup, before a formal quality management system existed, and was responsible for establishing the core quality structure as the operation scaled.As production and complexity increased, I implemented quality processes that made accountability structural rather than dependent on individual effort. This included corrective action governance and the use of statistical process control to move decisions away from reaction and toward evidence, allowing variation to be identified and addressed earlier.Over time, this work reduced reliance on informal workarounds and clarified ownership. It enabled the organization to operate under pressure without pushing tension onto people or relying on heroics to compensate for gaps in the system.
