ABOUT LEONARDO GRIMALDI

I joined Suzano in and developed my career in the Pulp and Paper Sales and Marketing areas, in several leadership positions. I had the opportunity to act as a New Business Manager at Suzano North America, staying an expatriate in the United States for two years. Upon my return, I led our international operations until I became, in 2012, the Commercial Director of the Paper Unit for the national and international markets. In 2017, I became the Executive Officer of the Paper and Cardboard Business Unit, being responsible for the P&L of our business, with annual sales of approx. R$ 4.5 billion.As of February 2021, I became the Executive Officer for Global Pulp Sales and Marketing. We are global leaders in the Pulp industry, with sales in all continents to Tissue, Paper and Packaging producers, with a total annual revenue of R$ 34 billion in 2021. In February 2021 I also became Suzano\'s Executive Office for Global Human Resources, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, with the responsability of managing and developing over direct employees globally.As of September 2022 I have embraced new challenges at Suzano, as the Executive Officer for Global Pulp Sales, Marketing and Logistics.Alongside my role as a member of Suzano’s Executive Committee, I have served as a member of the supervisory board of Ibema (Brazil), and am currently the Chairman of the Board at Portocel (Brazil), as well as member of the supervisory boards of Lenzing (Austria) and Veracel Celulose (Brazil).
