ABOUT LEE SCANLON
My professional experience is literally from the ground up. I started as a line Production Operator in the Crystal Growing operation at Siltec Silicon (MSA), working my way up to Team Leader, picking up extensive quality, leadership, and manufacturing technology training along the way. After five years I was invited to join the Quality team as an Internal Auditor, attained ASQ CQA and was given the responsibility for audit activity at the North Salem facility which included 75 different manufacturing processes.Started my own remodeling business after watching (then) MSA fall into a hole too deep to get out of, and spent the next five years creating excited customers with my craftsmanship and attention to detail.In 2004 I was graciously invited to join DMP as the Quality Manager, where we have improved Average Outgoing Quality from 66% to 99.8%, and attained ISO 9001certification in 2007.It is my goal to continue the work of establishing systems here at DMP to enhance the quality of product and service, help lead the organization to world class status, and hopefully one day be named VP of Corporate Quality.Specialties: Six Sigma Green Belt
