Our goal as Presidio\'s first Mental Health ERG is to provide a safe space and community focused on promoting employee mental health and providing resources to aid in positive change. In order to reduce the stigma around mental health, raise awareness, offer advice amongst peers, we have created a community of Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act along with how we handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions. Records indicate that nearly 60% of U.S. employees experienced mental health symptoms last year, and yet eight in 10 workers did not seek treatment due to “shame” in their feelings. Our ERGs build communities among people with shared experiences to create social connection, educational opportunities, and peer support.
