My name is Larry Sparks and I have been a Financial Professional since August 2017. I started in financial services and transitioned in March 2019 to specialize in Mutual Funds, where I have been working ever since. Very efficient in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce, and I have been researching the behavior of Mutual Funds and adapting to this ever-changing industry.

   Since my internship in Nashville, I\'ve been wanting to return to working with mutual funds. I am a member of a small team (consisting of Mutual Funds and Money Market Sweeps) that produces just under a third of the revenue for TD Ameritrade as a whole. Through various functions, our team is responsible for reconciling mutual fund share balances in our underlying client accounts to mirror the activity transacting in their fund accounts at each mutual fund company. Among others, this includes trades, transfers, conversions, exchanges, and mergers/reorganizations. In addition to reconciliation, myself and only 2-3 others on our team know how to accurately distribute dividends and capital gains to clients upon the payable date. I have learned so much during my tenure and I am eager for new opportunities to keep learning. With a mutual fund background already, I was able to learn quickly and excel by offering assistance to my team members and internal business partners, as well as taking on responsibilities that are not exactly listed in the job description.
