About Laura Pollan

With over a decade of work experience in healthcare project management, I am a project manager with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) at Carilion Clinic, a leading healthcare organization serving over 1 million patients in the southwestern region of Virginia. I am passionate about providing compassionate, quality care through innovative and evidence-based solutions. I have a master\'s degree in business administration (MBA) from Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on strategy and healthcare, and a master\'s degree in public health (MPH) from the University of Pennsylvania. I also hold a professional certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).As a project manager at Carilion Clinic, I manage multiple projects with high organizational priority and executive-level sponsors, and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. The projects range broadly, and have included strategy setting, service line planning, and IT implementation and adoption. I collaborate with various stakeholders of all levels and across all domains, including clinicians, administrators, and external partners to plan, execute, monitor, evaluate, and close/transition projects. I also provide guidance and support to the project team, and facilitate communication and problem-solving.
